On 24 July 2026 at 15:00, the Signing and Unveiling Ceremony for the China Center of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music was held at the Multifunction Hall of Beijing Mass Innovation Street Holding Co., Ltd. The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (Hungary) and Beijing Mass Innovation Street Holding Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation concerning the development of the China Center and wider China–Hungary cooperation in music education, artistic exchange and talent development, followed by the unveiling of the Center.
The China Center will develop programmes in international music education, young talent development, masterclasses and artist exchange, institutional cooperation, concerts and cultural events, faculty development and international communication. The aim is to move from one-off projects toward a long-term, stable and sustainable platform for cooperation.
Using music as a shared language, the Center seeks to create more direct connections among institutions, teachers, young musicians, arts organisations and media in China and Hungary. Specific programmes and partner announcements will be released as they are formally confirmed.
